Clean-agent fire suppression for data centers and critical electronic spaces

Overview

Since water suppression damages equipment in data centers, clean-agent gas suppression is preferred under BYKHY Article 98. A data center fire suppression system requires uninterrupted protection with FM200, NOVEC 1230 or inert gas (IG01) together with very-early-warning aspirating detection (VESDA). A-Pro delivers extinguishing-concentration calculation, cylinder-bank sizing, pipe design and commissioning under one roof, protecting the critical load within milliseconds.

Which agent is suitable — FM200, NOVEC or inert?+

Selected by space size, occupancy, ceiling height and sustainability goal: FM200 for rapid discharge, NOVEC 1230 for low GWP, IG01 for environmentally friendly inert protection.

Is the system safe in occupied rooms?+

Yes. The design stays within NOAEL safety limits and is supported by an evacuation/delay scenario. A-Pro uses neither halon nor aerosol.

Can it be retrofitted to my existing server room?+

Yes. Room tightness is assessed with a door-fan test; after any required sealing improvements the gas system is installed.
