Fire Detection & Alarm
Addressable and conventional detection, alarm and cause-effect
Overview
Fire detection and alarm systems detect smoke/heat early to trigger evacuation and suppression scenarios. A-Pro implements addressable and conventional panel design, detector layout and cause-effect integration.
How it works
Addressable Systems
Each detector is individually monitored at the panel for fast response in large facilities.
Conventional Systems
Economical zone-based detection for small-to-medium buildings.
Special Detection
Aspirating (VESDA), linear heat cable and beam detectors for challenging spaces.
Cause-Effect Integration
Automatic scenarios with suppression, smoke exhaust, elevators and voice evacuation.

Maintenance & periodic inspection
Detection systems must stay active at all times; A-Pro keeps detectors, panels and scenarios operational through periodic testing and maintenance.
- Periodic detector function and contamination test
- Panel fault/battery and supply check
- Call point, sounder and beacon function test
- Cause-effect (scenario) matrix verification
- Suppression/evacuation integration testing
Frequently asked questions
Addressable vs. conventional?+
Addressable shows each detector separately with exact location; conventional gives zone-level information.
Where is detection mandatory?+
In accommodation, healthcare, retail, education and industrial buildings meeting BYKHY Article 75 / Annex-7 thresholds.
Does detection integrate with suppression?+
Yes. Cross-zone verification triggers gas/water suppression, smoke exhaust and voice evacuation automatically.
How often should it be tested?+
Periodic function testing of detectors and scenarios is recommended; A-Pro provides regular checks under a maintenance contract.
Can an existing panel be expanded?+
On addressable systems, if capacity allows, the loop can be extended and additional detectors/modules integrated.
