Water-Based Fire Suppression

Wide-area protection with sprinklers and water mist

Overview

Water-based fire suppression systems control fires at an early stage across large volumes using automatic sprinklers and water mist solutions. A-Pro delivers hydraulic calculation, pump station design, pipework and commissioning under one roof.

How it works

Automatic Sprinklers

Heat-sensitive bulb/fusible link opens only in the fire zone, preventing unnecessary water damage.

Water Mist

High-pressure micron-sized droplets cool rapidly and dilute oxygen using far less water.

Pump Station

Electric + diesel fire pumps, jockey pump and pressure management for uninterrupted flow.

Hydraulic Design

Flow-pressure calculation and zoning per NFPA 13 / TS EN 12845.

Our delivery process

  1. 01

    Survey & Risk Analysis

Site assessment with space inventory, hazard class and water-source review.

  2. 02

    Hydraulic Calculation

Flow-pressure calculation and zoning per NFPA 13 / TS EN 12845.

  3. 03

    Design & Approval

Engineering, pump selection and code/fire-department approval.

  4. 04

    Supply & Installation

Pump station, pipework and sprinkler-head installation.

  5. 05

    Testing & Commissioning

Pressure test, flow test and acceptance procedures on handover.

  6. 06

    Maintenance & Monitoring

Continuous readiness via periodic testing and a service contract.

Maintenance & periodic inspection

BYKHY and TS EN 12845 require periodic inspection; A-Pro keeps the system ready to activate at any moment through a testing and maintenance contract.

  • Weekly/monthly pump run and gauge checks
  • Sprinkler head and valve position inspection
  • Annual flow-pressure test with reporting
  • Diesel fire pump fuel and battery maintenance
  • Water tank level, cleanliness and refill checks

Frequently asked questions

Do sprinklers flood the whole building?+

No. Only the sprinkler heads in the fire zone activate, minimizing water damage.

Water mist vs. sprinkler?+

Water mist uses much smaller droplets and far less water for cooling and oxygen dilution; ideal for water-sensitive spaces.

Where are sprinklers mandatory?+

In high-rises, large hotels, malls and enclosed car parks meeting BYKHY Article 96 thresholds.

How often does it need maintenance?+

TS EN 12845 recommends weekly/monthly operator checks plus an annual test by an authorized firm; A-Pro offers a maintenance contract.

How long does installation take?+

It depends on facility size and existing infrastructure; after the survey we share the hydraulic calculation and a clear schedule.
