Gas Fire Suppression

Clean suppression with FM200, NOVEC 1230, CO₂ & IG01 Argon

Overview

Gas fire suppression systems protect electrical/electronic spaces where water would cause damage, using clean agents or inert gases. A-Pro implements TS ISO 14520-based design, cylinder banks, nozzle layout and detection integration.

How it works

FM200 & NOVEC 1230

Clean chemical agents suppress within seconds, leave no residue, safe for electronics.

IG01 Argon (Inert)

Pure argon inert gas lowers oxygen to a fire-stopping level; natural composition with zero GWP/ODP.

CO₂ Systems

High-efficiency carbon dioxide suppression for unoccupied technical spaces and local applications.

Detection Integration

Cross-zone detector verification minimizes the risk of accidental discharge.

  1. 01

    Survey & Volume Analysis

Volume, enclosure integrity and risk assessment of the protected space.

  2. 02

    Agent & Concentration Calc

Agent quantity, cylinder count and NOAEL/NOEL check per TS ISO 14520.

  3. 03

    Design & Approval

Nozzle layout, detection integration and code approval.

  4. 04

    Supply & Installation

Cylinder bank, pipe/nozzle network and control panel installation.

  5. 05

    Integrity & Commissioning

Door-fan (enclosure integrity) test, function test and handover.

  6. 06

    Maintenance & Weighing

Continuous readiness via periodic cylinder weighing and detection care.

Maintenance & periodic inspection

Cylinder pressure/weight and enclosure tightness can drift over time; A-Pro guarantees the correct discharge concentration through periodic maintenance.

  • Annual cylinder weighing / pressure check (TS ISO 14520)
  • Repeat door-fan (room integrity) test
  • Detector, panel and actuator function test
  • Nozzle and pipe-network integrity inspection
  • Audible-visual alarm and gas shut-off integration check

Frequently asked questions

Is gas suppression harmful to people?+

Systems like NOVEC 1230 and IG01 Argon are safe for occupied spaces at design concentration; CO₂ is used only in unoccupied areas.

Where is gas suppression preferred?+

In water-sensitive critical spaces such as server rooms, panel rooms, transformers and archives.

Does it leave residue?+

Clean agents (FM200, NOVEC) leave no residue; equipment keeps running without cleanup.

How often are cylinders checked?+

Annual weighing/pressure checks and periodic integrity testing per TS ISO 14520; A-Pro runs this under a maintenance contract.

Why does room tightness matter?+

The agent needs a sealed enclosure to hold design concentration long enough; this is verified with a door-fan test.
