Overview
IG01 is a natural inert suppression gas made of 100% pure argon. It extinguishes fire by lowering ambient oxygen to a fire-stopping level (~12.5%); it leaves no chemical residue and does not harm electronic equipment. As a noble gas naturally present in the atmosphere, its GWP and ODP are zero. A-Pro designs to TS ISO 14520-13 (IG01) and NFPA 2001.
How it works
Pure Argon (100%)
Single-component noble gas; needs no blending, delivering natural and clean suppression.
Zero Environmental Impact
A noble gas naturally present in the atmosphere; global warming (GWP) and ozone depletion (ODP) potential are zero.
Residue-Free & Non-Conductive
Does not harm electronics and needs no post-discharge cleanup.
Pressurized Gas Storage
Stored in high-pressure cylinders; needs more cylinder volume than chemical agents.

Frequently asked questions
What is IG01 made of?+
It is a noble inert suppression gas made of 100% pure argon, naturally present in the atmosphere.
How does IG01 extinguish fire?+
It lowers ambient oxygen to a fire-stopping level (~12.5%); design concentration and room integrity are critical.
Any drawback versus FM200/NOVEC?+
Inert gases need more cylinder volume (storage space). In return they offer zero GWP/ODP and natural composition — environmentally superior.
What is its environmental impact?+
As a natural noble gas, its global warming and ozone depletion potential are zero; among the greenest clean-agent options.
Where is it ideal?+
Ideal for environmentally prioritized spaces where water suppression is unsuitable — data centers, control rooms, archives, panel and transformer rooms.
