Overview
Alarm valve sets (control valve groups) are the heart of a water-based system; they control water flow, raise alarms and define the system type. A-Pro selects the right valve set by space and risk and engineers it per TS EN 12845.
How it works
Wet Alarm Valve Set
Pipes always water-filled; fastest response for normal spaces without freeze risk.
Dry Alarm Valve Set
Pipes filled with pressurized air; for cold spaces with freeze risk (car parks, cold storage).
Deluge Valve Set
Delivers water to the whole zone at once via open nozzles; for high hazard and water spray systems.
Preaction Valve Set
Detection + sprinkler double interlock; for data centers and archives sensitive to accidental discharge.
Frequently asked questions
Which valve set for which space?+
Wet for normal spaces, dry where freezing is a risk, deluge for high hazard, and preaction for critical spaces sensitive to accidental discharge.
Why is preaction preferred in data centers?+
Water enters pipes only when both detection and a sprinkler operate, preventing accidental discharge from a single damaged head.
