Overview
Following the Kartalkaya disaster, fire-safety inspections of accommodation facilities tightened sharply. Hotels must run sprinklers, automatic detection, kitchen hood suppression and escape planning as an integrated whole. A-Pro prepares projects fully compliant with BYKHY thresholds.
How it works
Sprinkler Requirement
Water suppression is mandatory in hotels with more than 100 rooms OR more than 200 beds OR over 21.50 m height (Article 96).
Automatic Detection
Automatic fire detection is mandatory in accommodation above 6.50 m height or 1,000 m² (Annex-7).
Kitchen Hood Suppression
Hood suppression is mandatory in commercial kitchens serving more than 100 people (Article 57).
Escape & Wayfinding
Safe escape routes are planned with emergency lighting, signage and smoke ventilation.
