Enclosed Car Parks
Turnkey fire suppression for enclosed car parks and vehicle-lift structures
Overview
With the spread of electric vehicles, fire risk in enclosed car parks has increased. A car park fire suppression system requires automatic detection — mandatory since the 1 July 2025 amendment — together with sprinklers and smoke ventilation as an integrated whole. A-Pro delivers hydraulic calculation, smoke-control design, fire-department approval and commissioning under one roof. We start with a free site survey in Ankara and surrounding provinces.
How it works
Automatic Detection (Mandatory)
The 1 July 2025 amendment made automatic fire detection mandatory in enclosed car parks.
Sprinkler Requirement
Sprinklers are mandatory in enclosed car parks exceeding 600 m² OR taking more than 10 vehicles via vehicle lift (Article 96).
Smoke Ventilation
Jet-fan and mechanical smoke extraction keep escape routes clear and ease intervention.
EV Charging Risk
Dedicated detection and suppression measures against increased thermal-runaway risk in EV charging zones.
Fire-Brigade Riser
A fire-brigade riser is mandatory in car parks whose floor area exceeds 1,000 m² (Article 97).
Freeze Protection
Protection against freezing in unheated car parks with dry-pipe sprinklers or antifreeze solutions.
Our delivery process
- 01
Free Survey
Determine total area, storey count, vehicle capacity, EV charging zone and ventilation state.
- 02
Risk & Conformity Analysis
Inspect the existing system and define detection and smoke-ventilation needs.
- 03
Engineering & Approval
Sprinkler hydraulic calculation, jet-fan smoke-control design and fire-department approval.
- 04
Supply & Installation
Pump station, sprinklers, detection, jet fans and smoke-extraction systems.
- 05
Testing & Commissioning
Pressure-flow test, smoke-control scenario and acceptance procedures on handover.
- 06
Maintenance & Monitoring
Continuous readiness and conformity tracking via a periodic maintenance contract.
Maintenance & periodic inspection
BYKHY and TS EN 12845 require periodic inspection of enclosed car parks; A-Pro keeps the system ready to activate at any moment through a testing and maintenance contract.
- Weekly/monthly fire-pump run and gauge checks
- Sprinkler head and alarm-valve inspection
- Detector and panel test
- Jet fan and smoke-extraction fan functionality check
- Dry-pipe air pressure and freeze-protection check
- Hose cabinet and fire-brigade riser pressure test
Frequently asked questions
Is detection mandatory in an enclosed car park?+
Yes, the 1 July 2025 amendment made automatic fire detection mandatory in enclosed car parks.
In which car park is a sprinkler mandatory?+
Sprinklers are mandatory in enclosed car parks exceeding 600 m² or taking more than 10 vehicles via vehicle lift (Article 96).
What drives the cost of a car park fire suppression system?+
It depends on total area, storey count, vehicle capacity, ventilation and existing infrastructure. A clear quote is shared after a free survey.
What is done against electric-vehicle fires?+
Thermal-runaway risk is managed in EV charging zones with early detection, dense sprinkler coverage and dedicated suppression where needed.
How is an unheated car park protected against freezing?+
Dry-pipe sprinklers or antifreeze solutions protect the system in freeze-prone areas.
