They are vital systems used for the detection of smoke, heat and gas particles resulting from combustion and for early warning. It is used for early warning, control and activation of other systems in accordance with the designed fire scenario. In fire alarm systems; spot type ceiling detectors used in general volumes; it cannot be used in outdoor conditions, where air circulation is intense, in extremely dusty environments and in flammable flammable liquid fires requiring early warning and quick intervention.
Therefore; For industrial applications, special systems must be used in accordance with plant requirements.
Main Special Systems Used;
• Linear Temperature Detection: They are highly effective in applications such as outdoor pans, where air circulation is intense, in extremely dusty environments, and in applications such as cable trays, cable galleries, local device protections where fire detection is difficult. It is possible to determine the alarm position, to measure the constant temperature or temperature rise rate, to make cross validation.
• Air Sampling System It is used in many fields such as telecommunication rooms, server rooms, data processing rooms, data centers, historical buildings and museums where sensitive and fast detection is important. They are the systems that analyze the smoke density in the area by sampling the air in the environment. Air sampling systems are highly sensitive and provide very early warning.
• Flame Detectors are detectors that detect the wavelength of radiation generated by a spark or flame. It is frequently used in Ex-Proof facilities where explosive equipment is produced or used, especially in the case of flammable flammable liquid fires, where rapid fire alarm information is vital. UV, UV / IR, IR and IR3 models are available. 15 ms. UV models that can detect in very short periods of time.
